The Guatemala Friends Scholarship Program

PROGRESA

PROGRESA

It is a non-profit organization founded by members of the  Religious Society of Friends, known as "Quakers." Its main objective is to support education in Guatemala by granting scholarships to individuals with limited resources and strong academic potential. Despite having been founded and supported by a religious group, Progresa is not a religious entity nor does it distinguish between the beliefs of its beneficiaries.
